Slayer is a skill that allows players to kill monsters which are often otherwise immune to damage. It can be profitable since many Slayer assignments drop valuable items such as Abyssal whips by Abyssal demons, dark bows by Dark beasts, etc. Generally, the stronger the monster, the more valuable its drops will be. Many slayer monsters drop herbs and other useful, valuable items like runes, charms, caskets, and more, giving players an opportunity to advance difficult-to-train skills as Herblore and Summoning. You can also obtain slayer points that are used in the slayer reward shop.

Experience Calculations[edit | edit source]
Slayer Points[edit | edit source]
On task completion, you will receive slayer points that can be used in the reward shop. The amount of slayer points you receive is dependent on what type of task you chose as well as the length.
TASK TYPE | POINT VALUE |
---|---|
Regular | 15 |
Boss | 45 |
Wilderness | 35 |
TASK LENGTH | POINT VALUE | # OF NPC's (all inclusive) |
---|---|---|
Short | 5 | 10-15 |
Medium | 10 | 20-35 |
Long | 20 | 50-75 |

Slayer Streak[edit | edit source]
When you complete more than one task in a row, you will begin a slayer streak. At high enough streaks, you will receive additional slayer points depending on your streak.
Every 10th task will result in bonus slayer points. However, the amount of bonus points depends on your current streak.
If your current streak is lower than 50, you will receive 25 additional slayer points every 10th task.
If your current streak is higher than 50, you will receive 50 additional slayer points every 10th task.
