Summoning allows players to infuse charms, shards and other materials into familiars. Familiars may help you throughout the world, from your skilling adventures to your combat endeavors. You may find yourself very pleased with the help they provide. And, it is always nice to have a companion at your side.

Familiars[edit | edit source]

A Moss titan
Main article: Summoning familiars

Familiars are creatures that players may summon to help them with various tasks. Only one familiar can be summoned at a time, and must be dismissed before another can be summoned.

To summon a familiar, players must use the "Summon" option on a Summoning pouch. Summoning familiars costs summoning points. While a familiar is out, summoning points will slowly be drained until they hit 0. The familiar does not disappear when the points reach 0, but any active ability will be unavailable until the points are recharged. Summoning points do not automatically recharge, so they must be recharged at a summoning obelisk or by drinking restoration drinks, e.g. super restores.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Familiars have many different abilities, from boosting skills to aiding you in combat. All familiars have a passive and an active ability. Passive abilities are always active when summoned. Active abilities require a summoning scroll, made from a pouch of that familiar.
