Angelic Phoenix[edit | edit source]
The Angelic Phoenix is a poweful level 1862 flying Phoenix boss monster in Arigon which is fought in an instance. It can be accessed via the Teleport interface by selecting Bosses and then Angelic Phoenix - entering the phoenix cave requires an Angelic Phoenix key dropped by the Weakened Phoenixes.
Combat Information[edit | edit source]
- Health: 10,000 HP (First phase) - 15,000 HP (Enraged phase)
- Primary Attack Style: Melee
- Secondary Attack Style: Ranged (Shoots a star).
- Tertiary Attack Style: Magic (Shoots a turquoise-blue blitz).
- Special Attack: The Angelic Phoenix will use its fiery talons to slice through the player's defenses, leaving the player with bleed status.
- Mechanics: Blue or red shadow pools—depending on the current phase—will appear beneath the player and across the ground. Standing in these pools inflicts continuous damage over time.
Two-phase boss[edit | edit source]
The Angelic Phoenix has two distinct phases. Upon its initial defeat, it is reborn in an enraged, larger form—its feathers turning a blood-red hue as it unleashes more powerful and faster attacks.
- In the first phase, the amount of shadow pools is minimal, giving the player enough time to step away to a safe tile.
- In the enraged phase, the shadow pools appear more frequently and will turn into a bright-red color. The amount of pools will increase tremendously, sometimes filling most of the ground.
Main Drops[edit | edit source]
- Nightshade essence: An herblore ingredient used to create the Nightshade potion.
- Angelic feather: An item which is one of the requirements to forge a set of wings via the Wing foundry at Home. Also used to upgrade the stats of the player's wings.
- Angelic staff (uncharged): A one-handed magic staff with a built-in attack spell (requires charges) - Has a special attack that reduces the defence of enemies.
- Excalibur of Angels: A melee sword that can be used to attack any flying NPC that otherwise cannot be attacked via melee.
- Angelic phoenix egg: The pet egg for the Angelic Phoenix. Can be incubated to hatch the 'Angelic phoenix' pet variant.
The Angelic Phoenix offers no GD (Guaranteed drop).
Strategies[edit | edit source]
The Angelic Phoenix can only be attacked with the ranged or magic attack styles as it is a flying boss, unless the player is in possession of the Excalibur of Angels. Both (ranged & magic) styles are not needed to kill the boss - the player should bring whichever attack style is their most powerful out of the two.
The player may ignore the shadow pools if the player has strong enough gear and damage to consistently heal with the Soulsplit prayer.
Access[edit | edit source]
The Angelic Phoenix can be accessed directly through the Teleport interface under the Bosses category. The player must have an Angelic Phoenix key in their inventory to enter its cave.
