Primal Hatchet
The Primal hatchet is a woodcutting axe that requires 91 Attack to wield and 91 Woodcutting to use. It can be obtained by upgrading it in the Upgrader located next to the ;;shops teleport at home. This hatchet is the best hatchet you can obtain in-game, boasting the highest chop rate along with one of the best special effects for skilling tools. The Primal hatchet also requires the prestige perk "Primal Skiller".
Special Effects
The Primal hatchet offers one of the best special effects. Along with having the fastest rates for a hatchet in-game, it also always yields 2 harvests of the respective material. For example, the Primal hatchet always yields 2 logs when successfully cutting a tree.
Upgrading
The Primal hatchet is made via the upgrader, located just north of the general shops. It requires multiple items to create:

- 30,000 Skilling tickets
