The Ancient Curse is a quest which entails helping out the Queen of Arigon. Completion of this quest will unlock the Ancient Curses prayer book.

Walkthrough
To start the quest talk to the Queen of Arigon far east of the AFK arena at Home. Bring a shovel with you
Then go to see effigy (an NPC) by teleporting to Ardougne. Run down to the Tower of Life.
Then go to Canifis and go to the bridge by the temple, speak to the ghost thing,
Then run up towards the Slayer Tower and there will be a farm to the east of the Slayer Tower, search the box inside the house, and then to the east window of the building outside dig with your shovel, once you have the piece return to Effigy
For this next part make sure you bring a stamina potion and protect melee, also bring an inv of food (sharks works fine),
Make your way all the way through the maze, to the very top right. You will figure it out after 1 or 2 tries. The end part is in the black demons cave , (just north of it but you have to enter the black demons cave)
Once collected the piece from the skeleton cage, bring it to efficiency,
Get ready for a boss fight as you now have to kill one of the black demons from the previous tunnel, and then you will be teleported into a boss fight. We recommend brews and restores only. (and boosting pots like range pots). Now he will give you a mask and teleport you back inside of the demon cave, wear the mask back to the very end of the maze again and kill a black demon, once the demon dies you get teleported to the final boss fight. There are two phases. Range works best.
Once killed, talk to effigy, and then return to the queen or Arigon Quest Completed!
