This article provides information about effective ways to train Attack, Strength, Defence, and Hitpoints through melee combat.

This guide is organised into sections based on skill levels. For example, if the section header is Levels 20 to 30, you should begin training at the area with an Attack and Strength level of at least 20. Defence is also preferred to be at that level, but is not always required. The solution to lower Defence is to bring more food, or use food that heals more.

Level 1-40

  1. Rabbits at Home
  2. Cows & Chickens at Lumbridge
  3. Short Slayer tasks

Level 40-60

  1. Slayer (Short/Medium tasks)
  2. Rock Crabs
  3. Experiments

Level 60-70

  1. Slayer - Good tasks:
    1. Abyssal Demons
    2. Gargoyles
    3. Green/Blue Dragons
    4. Gargoyles
    5. Cave Horrors
    6. Strykewyrms

Level 70-80

  1. DH Bombing Monkey Guards (Altar nearby)
  2. Slayer - Good tasks:
    1. Abyssal Demons
    2. Nechryaels
    3. Gargoyles

Level 80-99

  1. Boss Tasks (Slayer)
  2. DH Bombing Monkey Guards (Altar nearby)
  3. Extreme Tasks (Slayer) - Good Tasks:
    1. Edimmu
    2. Ice Demons (Wilderness)
    3. Lava Strykewyrms (Wilderness)
    4. Dragons
    5. Abyssal Demons
