Corpse Cleaner is a quest that takes place in the Wilderness and entails helping out Cletus. Players will need to battle powerful monsters in the Wilderness to complete this quest.

Completion of this quest will unlock a new type of ore.

Speak to Cletus at the Pub near the lumber yard outside of Varrock

• Since Varrock gates are closed, teleport home, then run all the way East along the wilderness ditch to get to the Pub.

1. Cletus will ask you to retrieve some items for him. These items are found in the Ruins in lvl 28-30 Wilderness, South of the Revenants Cave entrance.
2. The trapdoor is located in a small building to the East within the Ruins.
3. Once you found it, enter it, try to attack the boss and you'll notice it won't let you. At this point, exit via the ladder and go talk to Cletus back at the Pub to figure out how to kill the Boss.
4. Cletus will tell you about a new ore, Burnt Ore, and you must figure out how to smelt it.
5. Make your way to Burthorpe (Games Necklace or Taverly teleport), and speak to the Smithing Tutor north-east of the castle.
6. The Smithing Tutor will tell you that you can refine the Burnt Ore on the Sacred Forge, which is found West of the Mage Arena (Mage Bank teleport), near the brutes. After creating the bars, you will need use it on a Wilderness Anvil, which is found in the Wilderness Resource Area East of the Mage Arena.
7. You will need 3 Burnt Bars to create the Weak Spear used to kill the Undead Corpses.
8. Teleport to Mage Bank, use the Lever to go into the Wilderness. There are Burnt Ore veins on the walls of the Mage Arena. Mine 3 ores
9. Take the 3 ores to the Sacred Forge, to the west of Mage Arena, and smelt 3 bars
10. Take the 3 bars to the Wilderness Resource Area, to the east of Mage Arena, and make a weak spear on the Anvil (BRING 10K GP)
11. After creating the Weak Spear, had back to the Ruins trapdoor. You will find that the weak spear still cannot damage the Undead Corpses.
12. Return to Cletus, so he can enchant your Weak Spear into a Burnt Spear.
13. BE SURE TO TALK TO CLETUS AFTER HE ENCHANTS YOUR SPEAR TO PROGRESS.
14. Now we can return to the Ruins trapdoor to try to kill the Corpse Boss.
15. Kill the Corpse Boss. Fight is pretty easy with Soulsplit and Turmoil. Minions can start to do major damage if you let too many of them stack up. All minions will despawn once the Corpse Boss is dead, so it's not required to kill them!
16. Search for Cletus' book by searching the nearby Crates and Barrels.
17. Once found, head back to Cletus.
18. Hand over his book, QUEST COMPLETE.
