Dread crossbow[edit | edit source]
The Dread crossbow is a one-handed weapon that requires a Ranged level of 80 to wield. It can be obtained by upgrading it in the Upgrader located next to the ;;shops teleport at home. It is a very good end-game ranged weapon. It excels compared to other one-handed ranged weapons when you're using enchanted bolts as ammunition.
Special Effects[edit | edit source]
The Dread crossbow's special effect is extremely effective when using enchanted bolts. This effect makes the Dread crossbow have a high chance at proccing the bolt specials, letting you take more advantage of those bolt procs.
Special Attack[edit | edit source]
The Dread crossbow does have a special attack. When used, it consumes 65% of your special attack energy and hits multiple enemies when in a multi-zone.
Upgrading[edit | edit source]
The Dread crossbow is made via the upgrader, located just north of the general shops. It requires multiple items to create:
- Zaryte crossbow
- Armadyl crossbow
- Chaotic crossbow
- Night-gazer chunk
- 25 Gazer shards
- 65,000,000 coins
- 20 Upgrade tokens
