The '''Corporeal Beast''', often referred to simply as '''Corp''', is a large monster residing in its cave, accessible via the boss teleport --> Corporeal Beast. It has a very large health pool of 20,000 Hitpoints, coupled with high Defence and 50% damage reduction against most weapons; only spears and halberds (on stab attack style) deal full damage. If all players leave the room, its Hitpoints regenerate at a rapid rate.

The Corporeal Beast is the only monster to drop the spirit shield, as well as the Divine, Arcane, Elysian, and Spectral sigils.. In addition to its sigil drops, the Corporeal Beast has many other valuable drops such as Cannonballs, Herbs, Supply boxes and access to the rare drop table.

Since the Corporeal Beast lair is multi way combat. It's advised to bring a steel titan to speed up your kills. As stated above, The Corporeal Beast is weak to stab based weaponry. The best weapon currently is a Vestas Spear, But since the PvP degrading drop update, Most players prefer to use the Dragon Hunter Lance and an offensive off-hand weapon to make up for the damage differential. Overload potions are essentially a must so you can drink brews without missing game ticks or worrying about having to repot. The best melee gear strength bonus wise is advised.

Regardless of the Corporeal Beasts Combat and Hitpoints level, The fight is relatively straightforward. Most people opt to Protect from Magic as it greatly reduces the damage you take from the Corporeal Beast. However others use soulsplit and attempt to heal back the damage it does to them. Try out both and see what your preference is. When you go into the cave, Corp will aggro onto you, So make sure you Overload before going into the game to avoid getting hit a 49 and instantly dying as you overload. Drop your special attacks and hope for good hits, If you get very bad hits or 0's, Feel free to teleport out and use the altar at home to get special attack back and try again. During the fight, The Corporeal Beast will spawn a "Dark Energy Core" NPC that will jump underneath you and start hitting you for 7s-10s. Everytime the core does this, It heals the Corporeal Beast. So make sure you either kill the core, or you move back and forth to prevent it from standing on you.

The Fight

NOTE: ONLY use bandos godsword or Statius Warhammer specials on Corp to lower its defenses, This will help you solo the boss by an insane amount and is a necessity.
