Smithing is a production skill which turns ores and bars into a variety of metal amour and weapons. It uses ores gathered from the Mining skill on furnaces to turn them into bars, and then the bars are used on anvils to make items. Smithing is notably useful for making the requirements for summoning minotaurs and titans, for making dart and arrow tips for fletching and for piecing together certain high end items such as god sword blades.

Unique information to Arigon includes the following. A furnace and anvil can be found at both the Skilling Zone and the Donator Zone. There is a hard limit of 1 coal used per bar whenever smelting. And there are also goldsmithing guantlets attainable to increase the experience gained when smelting gold bars.
