Introduction

The Crystal Guardian is the boss unlocked after completing the "Love Ballad" quest line. The boss is combat level 850 and it is recommended to have relatively decent gear to fight optimally. Steel titan is highly recommended as it is multi-way combat and will exponentially increase your kill speed. This boss is currently the only way to get Crystal armor set pieces and the Bow of Faerdhinen, Which when used with the crystal set is one of, If not the best ranged weapons in the game for PvM and PvP alike.

The Fight

The fight is relatively straight forward. You protect from range while ranging the boss. Periodically throughout the fight she will go invulnerable and spawn miniature golems that will try to attack you. You can safespot the golems by getting them stuck behind the boss or sometimes they get stuck on their own. After a few seconds she will become targetable again. You could also just kill them if you want, they are very squishy and should only take 2-3 hits. The Guardian also has an ice burst move that IS avoidable but very difficult to dodge. So keep your HP around 70+ just in-case as it can hit in multiples of 20+. Ruby Bolts (e) are recommended to get the fights over with as quickly as possible.
