Woodcutting is a gathering skill that primarily involves chopping trees to obtain logs used in the Fletching, Firemaking, and Construction skills. Players with a higher Woodcutting level can chop down new types of trees and cut down trees quicker, especially as higher levels of axes become available.
Woodcutting is one of the few skills that have a designated training spot at the AFK Zone.

Training Woodcutting
Level 1-15: Regular Trees
Players can cut normal trees, which are found at the Skilling Zone as players gain double experience. Uses for logs include 
Fletching, Firemaking and trading.
