There's a ton of sources of Upgrade Tokens - too many to list, but here are the most common sources:

*Constructor - You can create an upgrade token at the Constructor for 3500 Salvage Dust, which is obtained from salvaging items. If you're wanting to get a bulk amount of tokens and you don't want to buy them from other players, or you're playing an ironman game mode, this will be your primary source of tokens. I'd recommend doing some [[clues]] with the Sherlock [[Pet Perk]] and salvaging any Third-Age drops you get, or Gilded items if you're unlucky with your scrolls. Depending on the items you get from your clues, you can net a few hundred thousand salvage dust at a time - perfect for supplying your upgrading needs.
